I'm a fan of Keith Green's music and I bought this book, hoping to work on his arrangement of "Easter song". However the music in here does not match the way Keith Green played it. I haven't looked over the other songs, but it is likely the same for all of them. Unfortunately, if I want to learn it as he played it I will have to go elsewhere.As a starting point for musicians, this book would work great, it just does not work for my specific purpose so I'm gonna have to do it the old fashioned way. What a waste.

Excellent sheet music for playing Keith Green's songs on the guitar. It has the chords shown above the words and all the original verses.

We love the album and so do our kids. I think it's pretty amazing that it appeals to so wide an audience and to me that speaks to how special Keith was.Our 15 year old liked it so much she asked for a Keith Green piano music book for Christmas and she plays it all the time.

Purchased as a gift for a dear friend who just graduated from high school, who is a very gifted pianist and dearly loves the music of Keith Green. Althought Keith's music dates back to the early 1980s, it is timeless and multi-generational contemporary Christian music. This young man's parents - also gifted pianists, love his music, and although I am old enough to be his grandfather, I dearly love his music as well.

There are many entertaining songs and many singers. Kieth is a person who was radically changed by the work of Christ in his heart. This timeless music is more relevant today than ever. Listen with the warning that the Holy Spirit is still at work through the voice and the music of this man.

Always great, wish he were still here. Can't wait to meet him in heaven.

This is the inspiring and amazing-but-true story of a man who obeyed God to sell his television and substitue prayer for his former viewing time.This is not an erudite theological treatise, but an account of the miracles that can follow simple love-inspired action. I have read it straight through for the fourth time and it does not get tiresome. Each time I read it, I am struck to think how many people God has asked to do something equally as bold, and how few have obeyed.Life-changing.

Life changing. My mom went to teen challenge 6 years ago. I started reading this book after a prompt from the Holy Spirit. ❤️ I didn’t realize at the time David was the one who founded teen challenge. When it got to that part I wept. Realizing because this man listened to the lord my mother’s life was spared. No coincidence that I “randomly” clicked on this and audiobooks and bought it

What an amazing book. I am familiar with Teen Challenge but not its history nor David Wilkerson. This book is a fascinating read. I really felt David Wilkerson did a great job of conveying the feel of 1950's inner city New York. The grime, the gangs, the drugs, all come together under the watchful Holy Spirit of God to bring hope to these amazing people who started this great organization. This book should be read by anyone, not just those who are of Faith. I couldn't put it down!

This book is one of my favorites. When I was fifteen (many moons ago) our youth pastor gave this book to us to read. I couldn't put it down. I let my friends borrow it. When I was older I gave it to my fiancé when he went in to basic training to read and he passed it around and then the book got lost but I hope it ended up in someone hands that needed it. Then I read it again and the book is still good as ever.

After reading an abridged version of The Cross and the Switchblade, I was eager to hear how this movement had continued. I got my answers and also the answers to some of the threads left hanging in the first book. It's basically chronicling that unfolded with the Teen Challenge movement and how Wilkerson's life went on. For me it was not so riveting as the earlier days but I came away with appreciation for the humanness of the author in all his struggles and attempts to follow the leading of his God.

First used book I've ordered for myself. Have ordered multiple used books through Amazon, for my husband. His books have always came in good condition. I read this book, back in 1974, and it changed my life. Was excited to see I could order a "used" version, to reread. Surprisingly, this IS the 1974 version (thought by the picture that it was a more current publication). While the story is still good, the condition of the book was not as I expected. Brittle, yellowed pages, that crumble as I read. The last few pages keep falling out, and I have to shove them back in to finish the book. There actually was a little "mini" calendar of 1974 stuck in the book, when I received it. It surprised me, and I felt a sense of "deja vu" when I first opened it, but the quality of the pages really aren't what I was expecting.

This book helped change my life. It has touched my life more than anyone can imagine. David spoke about a personal relationship and love with God and the Holy Spirit that left me wanting to feel that same love. I searched for it and found it and my life and beliefs are so different. I only wish this book would be read by every young person, rather than some fictional book like Harry Potter. It would possibly help keep so many young people from getting involved with drugs, prostitution and witchcraft. As a parent of two children, they saw the love and joy this brought to me and they have both read it and also wanted to seek out what it has to offer. What a blessing The Cross and the Switchblade had brought to our lives.

The Cross and the Switchblade by David Wilkerson was a inspiring true story from the 60's that kept me engaged and wanting to read more. David Wilkerson, a Christian and small town preacher from Pennsylvania, felt a strong urge from God to go and help the boys and gangs in New York City. David Wilkerson started living out his faith boldly by traveling to New York City to walk around the streets and preach and evangelize to the gangs. After being in New York and making relationships, David Wilkerson sensed God telling him to move there full-time. Eventually, Wilkerson moved his whole family there and through a series of miracles ended up buying a huge house, later know as Teen Challenge, for the street teens to live in and go through drug rehab. Wilkerson helped a lot of people become Christians and get rid of drug and sex addictions.I (and I am a teenager) would recommend this book to any Christian or person who is young in his/her faith and wondering how God works through people. This was a really good book and a fairly easy read. I give this book 5 stars.

Purchased this for someone who is incarcerated thinking maybe it would hit home. I heard Nikki Cruz speak at The Brooklyn Tabernacle and like I said prayed that the person I bought it for might find "something" in it.I will never know as we are responsible for the input not the outcome, only time will tell. Not for everyone but definitely for the person I bought it for. The story of David Wilkerson was made into a movie way back in the 1960's I think played by Pat Boone. Wow how times have changed, one of the best selling books of 1959 was Twixt 12 and 20 by Pat Boone (who was Pat Boone lol), imagine that selling today? David Wilkerson walked where most men would not dare to walk into the streets of hell but saved a lot of souls. Truly a man of God if this type of book is for you.

Through the years I have read over 25 books on M&A and this book was by far the best. Most M&A books are geared towards large company acquisitions of other large companies and those books offer very little in the way of actionable information.Mr. Hoffmann goes into the fine points and the practical aspects of acquisitions. He addresses the trouble spots in acquisitions and the synergy of acquisitions. I speak from experience with the rollups my company has done, that this book is a great addition to your bookcase and if you can read only one book on aquisitions this is the book.Also, the author is a good writer and the book reads and flows well.

Great Book... very helpful and detailed for M&A.

This is indeed a usable and well-written desk reference manual for executing successful acquisitions as a tool for business growth and for achieving outstanding investment returns. After more than two decades as a global deal professional, this book is the first real life, in the trench approach to doing deals that enrich the shareholders and provides a margin of safety for prudent and savvy dealmakers.It is in the same category as the Intelligent Investor by Ben Graham except that it should have been titled The Intelligent Dealmaker. It is that good! Ben wrote what he practiced, that was why his book was great. Norman has done exactly the same for deal making.Just stumbled on it yesterday, got the kindle version and couldn't stop reading for hours at a stretch, though it is a business book! That's how great the material is.My advise: never pursue another deal until you've consumed and internalize this material. Congratulations Mr. Hoffman for sharing your more than three decades in the trenches experience in a manner consumable by deal laymen.

This book was severely disappointing. It has very little to do with M&A, Strategy or Consolidations and instead is a rambling tale of one, not-so-interesting, roll-up. The review on the back cover from the best writer on M&A, Robert Bruner, should unfortunately be disregarded. I pulled myself through the entire book and found the best two passages to be from other famous business minds -- Warren Buffett and Clayton Christensen (Innovator's Dilemma). The high price does not mean this book contains much value.

A huge improvement over book 5, which was kind of flat for me. Critical Failures 6 has the same level of humor that made books 1 - 4 so much fun. The humor is still very crude, but odds are if you are reading a review for book 6 in the series, that's probably right in your wheelhouse. The plot development in this one is leaps above the first 5 books. Where those were pretty straightforward, this one throws in some really interesting plot twists along with some noticeable character development. I absolutely cannot wait for the audio version to be released. And if you aren't listening to the audio versions of this series, even if you don't like audio books in general, you should give these a go. They really are next level funny.

This was a perfect mix of character development, story progress, and dirty jokes. If you're a fan, this is a must-read, there were at least a dozen times that I had to put my kindle down when burst into full on belly laughter.Great job, Bevan. Keep it up. If you are considering reading this book it's safe to assume that you are already a fan. I've been a fan of the C&C series for about three years now and this, this is the book that shows off the author's range. Dick jokes abound it's true, but the real strength of this novel is in the fact that the author branches out into more action, more character development and a lot more intrigue. This is the novel that has convinced me that Robert Bevan has much more to offer than hilarious dialogue and inventive means of killing magical horses.

As with the other books and stories, if you can get past the crude language and scatological humor, this installment is quite enjoyable. Certain of the characters have, or at least appear to have, experienced growth. Both of the major reveals were not telegraphed at all and came as quite entertaining surprises. I can't wait to see what comes next.

Robert Bevan continues to show off his writing talent with the next entry in the series. The characters continue to grow and develop while still keeping the same humor from earlier in the series without it seeming tired or ponderous. As so many others have stated the series just gets stronger without showing signs of repeating itself or becoming a parody of itself. Really good stuff.

Julian and Stacy also grew as characters.I laughed out loud on at least a dozen occasions. Denise and Cooper both had me dying!Bevan's writing continues to mature. His characters gain depth. You want to get in the stock when it is bouncing off of the support and get out of the box when it encounters resistance, unless it is breaking out.In this book the author gives you a method where you get into and out of the stock sooner by trading the box within the box, thereby securing your profits and lessening your chances of encountering loses.The author doesn't stop there.
